Elizabeth Teckenbrock Apologized For Triggering Others With Her Story

Teckenbrock said she realizes that for some, her story might have been triggering.

“The thing I want to apologize for is I know that listening to other people struggle, something that you may have related to is very triggering for a lot of people,” she said.

“People battling on the internet, people talking about their family trauma, people talking about their abuse or divorce, about their children, I know that all of that is very triggering and very troublesome. And so, for that, I want to apologize to anyone that has felt triggered or felt emotionally hurt by the situation.”

She said that she hates that all of this drama was online because of her kids, and that’s the reason she didn’t address any of it publicly for years.

“But I do feel I had no choice. I had no choice but to defend myself,” she continued. “I want to say, moving forward, anything that I talk about is not directed towards my ex-husband. It’s just directed towards me and how I got where I am and the things that have happened or the things even that I’ve contributed in myself.”

Teckenbrock said moving forward, her content will be about how she got here, mental health-related topics, mom content and recipes.

On Sunday morning, just one day after sharing her apology video, Teckenbrock shared an update on her situation.

“I would like to express my gratitude to everyone for their unwavering support during this difficult time. I have spent the morning with the police department, and as a result, I will no longer be discussing my ex-husband or my children on the internet,” she wrote.

“This has become a very serious legal matter, and I kindly ask for your understanding and respect for the privacy of my family. I take this situation very seriously as it involves the well-being of my loved ones. This is not a mere spectacle or entertainment, but a real-life issue that requires utmost sensitivity.”

She said that moving forward, her content will avoid addressing the “online scandal that has been circulating.”

Comments of support instantly began rolling in.

“Praying for your family situation to come to a peaceful resolution. Please be safe,” one person shared. Another said, “Sending you love ALWAYS! So proud of your resilience and even prouder you’re standing up for yourself while still protecting your babies.”

Andrew Cormier Wiped His TikTok Page

After sharing multiple videos sharing his side of the story, Teckenbrock’s ex, Cormier, wiped his TikTok page leaving only his original stitched video and two others.

In his video stitch of Teckenbrock’s crying cupcake video, he explains that he has full custody of their children, she owes child support, and an array of other things he’s alleging.

One of the three videos left on his page explains that he “tried to use the justice system in the past” and that it “led him to social media” to use as a “tool to hopefully prevent the next person from getting deceived and ultimately defrauded by my ex-wife.”

A follow-up video continues his side of the story.

“Finally, I want to point out the gross negligence of the ‘Creators’ who are making judgments without firsthand knowledge of our situation and misinforming their followers,” he wrote. “The added frenzy and mob tactics this has created has the potential to be extremely harmful to me, my ex-wife, and our children.”
