The outlet further reported that the professional boxer appeared to be under the influence of alcohol and drugs. However, he complied with the police and left the location quietly.

According to ESPN, a watch commander from the Beverly Hills Police Department told the outlet that Ryan’s arrest came after the hotel accused him of causing $15,000 in damages to the property and his room.

After Ryan’s booking, he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for evaluation following complaints of a medical issue. His attorney, Darin Chavez told ESPN that he could potentially face further charges related to public intoxication. TMZ reported that Ryan’s arrest stemmed from a welfare check conducted at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Wednesday (June 5), prompted by concerns from a family member. Although he appeared in good spirits during the check, moments later he was reportedly sen behaving badly. Consequently, the hotel banned him from consuming further alcohol.
